At Rahab’s Daughters, we are led by a diverse and passionate team of survivors, advocates, professionals, and volunteers united by one mission, to end human trafficking and restore lives.

Each member brings heart, expertise, and lived experience to the work we do, supporting survivors through prevention, recovery, and empowerment. From direct action to behind-the-scenes efforts, we believe every life deserves hope, dignity.

Rising Up, Raising Hope

Sam's Story

How a victim of modern slavery rose up to change lives.

Sam Wijeyakumar, the founder of Rahab's Daughters, is a survivor of human trafficking. She saw firsthand the way traffickers' cruelty and society's neglect inflicted constant trauma. She started the organisation with three goals:

Educate those around us about the realities and impacts of human trafficking.
Help rescue victims, rehabilitate them and reintegrate them back into a sustainable, safe lifestyle where they can thrive.
Stop the demand.
